Kitsap Transit's operators and maintenance team excelled at the 2024 Washington State Transit Association Roadeo, winning first place in three events and taking home the overall Grand Champion Award.

Last year, our ferry crews responded to an unprecedented number of significant safety events. We want to recognize 13 crew members who stepped up in these instances and helped resolve potentially dangerous situations.

Starting in July, Kitsap Transit Routed and ACCESS operators will receive higher wages, plus progressive increases over the next three years and a retention bonus.

Val Quill, Kitsap Transit’s longest-serving bus operator, has been selected as the 2022 Joseph M. Kaplan Safe Driver of the Year for the Pacific Region.
