Summer service change begins June 24 with the opening of the new Silverdale Transit Center
Our summer service change begins Monday, June 24.
This is a big service change, as it accompanies the opening of our brand-new transit center in Silverdale! Many routes will change their route patterns to serve the new Silverdale Transit Center (STC), located on Ridgetop Boulevard. Our old transit center below The Trails Shopping Center will no longer be used.
We will still offer service to the Trails via two new routes (265 and 266). Routes 265 and 266 will replace portions of Routes 235 and 237, which are being discontinued. A third new route, Route 331, will connect the new STC to the North Viking Transit Center via Myhre Road, Silverdale Way and Viking Avenue.
KT will soon add new Rider Alert subscription lists for Routes 265, 266 and 331. Customers who are subscribed to Rider Alerts for Routes 235 and 237 should update their preferences here, as those lists will be deleted 30 days after the transit center opens.
There’s a lot more that’s changing! Click on your route below for more information and links to schedules and maps.
